What role will the EU play in world affairs now the Lisbon Treaty is in force?
Learning targets: a) to master what the Lisbon Treaty implies in Common Foreign and Security Policy; b) to note the roles of the Commission, the Parliament and the European Foreign Minister in this policy area; c) to appreciate the impact that this European development may have on other major international players; d) to consider some of the policy options for Europe acting more coherently in foreign affairs now the Lisbon Treaty is in force.
